Outlook calendar synchronization

CalDAV provides full access to calendar data (read, edit, delete). Getting started involves activating calendar synchronization in webmail, installing the CalDAV Synchronizer add-on and adding a calendar account to Outlook.

1. Activate synchronization in webmail

Log in to webmail  and go to the calendar.

In the left menu, select Synchronization (1.)

Click on the tab Sync with CalDAV (2.)

Use the checkbox to select the calendar (3) to synchronize. You can also check multiple calendars (3a), however, you will need to add a new account for each of them.

To get the information you need to set up your account in CalDAV Synchronizer for Outlook, click

2. Installing the CalDAV Synchronizer add-on
Download and install the latest version of the add-on. You can find it on the developer's website or use the direct link. Save the installation file (ZIP) to disk and extract it in the normal way.

Make sure Outlook is turned off and run the setup.exe file. Next, follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Once the installation is complete, launch Outlook - the add-in will add a new CalDAV Synchronizer tab to Outlook

Click on the Show Advanced Settings at the bottom of the right window and select Event Mapping Configuration from the left menu
  • Scheduling Setting
    - uncheck (if checked) Map organizer and attendees (may solve problems with synchronizing event attendees and resending invitations)
  • Outlook Settings
    - check Cleanup duplicate events after each sync run (solves problems with possible duplication of events after a failed sync)
