You can import already existing contacts from your mail client or webmail by using the following way.
You can import contacts, events and tasks from Microsoft Outlook using our synchronization
PC client.
The application works also for import from older mail clients like Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail. The guide for setting up and use is in the linked knowledge base article.
Choose one of the following data formats for export from other applications
- LDIF (Thunderbird)
- CSV (Outlook, Windows Live Mail)
- vCard (Google)
Import into the webmail
Go to the address book, click the
button and from the menu choose the item
Import address book.
In the system dialogue select the file with address book exported from the email clients (see below) and open it. The contacts will be imported into the active address book.
Export contacts from the email clients
In the File menu choose the item Open and Export and then Import and Export.
In the wizard choose Export into a file and on the next page choose Values separated by commas.
Choose the Contacts type of folder and save the file in CSV format to the disk drive.
As the last step before saving, you can map certain fields. It is necessary to use the default mapping.
Finish the export by clicking the OK button.
Go to the Address book section and select the address book that should be exported.
In the Tools menu choose Export.
In the system dialogue select the LDIF file format.
Finish the export by clicking the Save button.
Go to the Google contacts and click in Export button.
Choose vCard format in the Export contact window.
Save contacts by the click on the Export button.
Go the Contacts section and click the address book you want to export.
On the Tools bar (ribbon) click the Export icon and from the menu choose Comma separated values (CSV).
After choosing the file name and the folder for saving continue to field mapping.
Select
all fields and finish the export by clicking the
Finish button.
