Is it possible to change the gTLD owner's contact information in Whois?

In case you are interested in changing the owner of a generic domain, it is necessary for both owners (current and future) to send a request to the Domain Department through the customer administration, through an authorised ticket. If the new owner does not already have a customer account, it is necessary to register one. 

There is no renewal with the change of ownership of generic domains and therefore the service is free. Updates to the whois database will take effect within 24 hours of confirmation of the change by both owners.

Once the change in the register has been initiated, both owners (first the new owner, then the current owner) receive a confirmation message requesting approval or rejection of the change. After both owners confirm the change, the change is completed. A confirmation of the change is then sent to both the original and new owner.

ATTENTION: The request is only valid for 7 days. If you do not receive a message in your email on the day of the initial application, please contact our domain department (domain@forpsi.com) and we will resend the application.

We do not recommend to use the same contact email as the domain (for example: for yourdomain.com we do not recommend to use the contact email info@ yourdomain.com). If the domain becomes nonfunctional for any reason (domain expiration, late renewal, nonfunctional DNS record....), complications may arise - your contact email for the domain will not work and you will not be able to edit your contact details. 

 

For Whois Privacy, a confirmation email is sent but does not require confirmation from the owners and the change is completed.

If you wish to change any of the Whois database details for your generic domain, please send an authorized request to the Domain Department. There is no charge to change the data.
Once the registry changes have been initiated, a confirmation message will be sent to the owner's email to confirm the change. Only after confirmation will the data in the whois database be updated, it takes up to 24 hours.
The confirmation message will only be valid for 7 days. If you do not receive the confirmation email on the initiation date, please contact the domain department (domain@forpsi.com) to request a resending of the message.

In case you have lost your login data to the administration and the email to which we could send a link to reset your password is no longer available (it has been cancelled, you have lost your password, etc.), we will only make the changes on the basis of a written declaration of honor, the text of which can be found below. 

Please, copy the request (depending on the type of entity) into a new document, complete as instructed and send it with a certified signature of the domain owner by surface mail (preferably registered mail) to our registered office address:

If the declaration is in the correct order, the modification of the contact email on the TUCOWS central registry will be initiated. A message will be sent to the new contact email directly from the central registry to confirm the change. Once the change is confirmed from the new contact address, the domain department must be contacted to send a confirmation SMS for the current email address. Once the change is confirmed for both email addresses, it will be completed at the central registry.

NOTICE: The data for the legalization of the document (ie the name and address of the domain holder or the statutory body of legal entities) will be compared with the data in the Whois database of the main domain registry. If they do not match, the data in the registry cannot be updated !!!

(please provide the required and available email address + MOBILE PHONE number!!!). At the same time, I ask you to send the access data to the customer administration to the new e-mail.
