When will the second SSL certificate be issued in the middle of the billing period?

Due to the shortening of SSL certificates, 2 subsequent certificates must be installed during the billing period (1 year). The first one is ordered from the provider immediately after receiving payment. It is issued after validation by the Certification Authority.

Certificate renewal during the billing period begins at different dates for individual Certification Authorities.

1) RapidSSL + QuickSSL (both belong to CA Digicert) - renewal (so-called Reissue process) begins 30 days before the expiration of the first certificate. If cooperation from the customer is required, we contact the customer and ask for cooperation (e.g. - if the CA sends a validation message to an e-mail, the customer must click on the link in the message. If it is a DNS or FILE validation method - we will send the customer the appropriate string, which he must add to the DNS records or add as a file.).

2. Actalis - renewal (so-called Reissue process) starts 14 days before the expiration of the first certificate. If cooperation from the customer is required, we contact the customer by e-mail and ask for cooperation (Example - if the CA sends a validation message to the e-mail, the customer must click on the link in the message. If it is a DNS validation method, or FILE - we will send the customer the relevant string, which he must add to the DNS records or add as a file.).
