What are blog widgets?

Widgets allow you to extend the functionality of your blog with useful elements that help visitors navigate the content better or access relevant articles more easily. In the SuperSite editor, you can add widgets such as scrolling articles, article archive, or a list of recent posts.



How to add a widget to the blog


  1. In the SuperSite editor, go to the page where you want to add the widget.
  2. Click on the "+" icon (Add element).
  3. In the left panel, select the Blog section → Widgets.
  4. Drag the desired widget onto the page.
  5. Edit the widget settings according to your needs.

Available types of widgets


In the SuperSite editor, you can use the following widgets:

  • Scrolling Articles – displays a list of articles in a horizontal scrolling view.
  • Articles Archive – displays articles sorted by publication date.
  • Last 10 Articles – displays the latest posts on the blog.
  • Categories Articles – allows you to display articles divided into categories.
  • Top 10 Articles – a list of the most read articles on the blog.
  • Search Articles – article search by content.



Recommendations for using widgets


  • Do not overload the page with too many widgets to keep it clear and organized.
  • Place important widgets in the sidebar or below the main content.
  • Use widgets in accordance with the overall blog design to ensure they visually fit the page layout.



Other adjustments and widget management


After adding a widget, you can anytime change its position, edit the content, or remove it. Just click on it and use the available editing options in the editor.
