Managing comments on your SuperSite blog is essential for maintaining content quality and interacting with readers. In this guide, we will show you how to display, approve, mark as spam, or delete comments in the blog administration.

How to Access Comment Management


  1. Go to the Blog section – Click on Comments in the left panel.
  2. Above the list, you can filter comments by their status:
    • All (shows all comments)
    • My comments (shows comments by the logged-in user)
    • Pending approval (comments that need manual approval)
    • Approved (comments that have already been published)
    • Spam (comments marked as unwanted)



Managing Individual Comments


To manage a specific comment, click the three dots next to the comment and select an option:

  • Show – Opens a detailed preview of the comment with the option to reply.
  • Approve – If the comment is in the "Pending approval" state, approving it will publish it.
  • Report spam – Marks the comment as spam and moves it to the corresponding category.
  • Delete – Permanently deletes the comment from the blog's database.

Replying to a Comment


  1. Click on the comment you want to reply to.
  2. Select the option Reply to.
  3. Type your reply and confirm by clicking Publish Comment.

Automating and Manual Approval of Comments


In the Blog Settings section (see blog settings), you can set rules for comment management:

  • Enable comments – All comments will be published immediately.
  • Enable comments with approval – Comments will be shown only after manual approval.
  • Disable comments – Disables the ability to add comments.
