The SuperSite editor offers a range of advanced features that allow you to optimize the design and layout of your website. Below are the key features and their uses.

Hookups


This feature helps you position components precisely on the page.

How to activate:
  1. Click on Design in the toolbar.
  2. Select the Advanced option (the icon with a gear).
  3. Activate the Hookups option.


Grids


Allows you to create a website optimized for different device resolutions by working within the recommended area.

How to activate:
  1. Click on Design in the toolbar.
  2. Select the Advanced option (the icon with a gear).
  3. Activate the Grids option.


Group components


Allows you to move multiple components at once.

How to activate:
  1. Click on Design in the toolbar.
  2. Select the Advanced option (the icon with a gear).
  3. Activate the Group components option.


Rules


Using rulers, you can create a grid for better content organization.

How to activate:
  1. Click on Design in the toolbar.
  2. Select the Advanced option (the icon with a gear).
  3. Activate the Rules option.
💡 After activation, you can drag and place the rulers to the desired position by holding down the left mouse button on the top and left rulers, where pixel counts are displayed.


Snap


While moving components, guiding lines will appear to help you align them with surrounding elements.

How to activate:
  1. Click on Design in the toolbar.
  2. Select the Advanced option (the icon with a gear).
  3. Activate the Snap option.
