Guide to creating a website with AI using Extendify in WordPress

The Extendify plugin allows you to easily create a professional website in just a few simple steps. This guide launches automatically when you first log into WordPress within the WP Ready service, but you can pause it at any time and return to it later in the Website Assistant - Website Builder menu.

Below is a description of each step to help you navigate the process:

Step 1: Starting Web Creation

On the guide’s homepage, enter your website’s title, a short description, and choose a communication tone (e.g., professional, friendly, inspirational). This information will help tailor content suggestions to your needs.

Step 2: Defining Website Goals

In this step, you select the main goals of your website. You can choose to grow site traffic, get more e-mail subscribers, create an online store, or other goals that match your project’s focus.

Step 3: Choosing the site Structure

You can select whether your website will be a single-page layout or a multi-page structure. This choice will affect how users navigate your site.

Step 4: Choosing a Design

Select a design template that best suits your focus. Each template can be customized later according to your preferences.

Step 5: Selecting Pages to Create

From a list of recommended pages (e.g., Homepage, About, Contact), you can select the ones you want to include on your site. These pages will be automatically generated with suggested content.
This step is not available if you selected the "Single-Page Website" option as the site structure in Step 3.

Step 6: Generating Content

Based on the provided information and selected options, your website’s content—including text, images, and basic page structure—will be generated. This process may take a few minutes.

Step 7: Finalization and Editing

After the guide is complete, you’ll be directed to the WordPress editor, where you can further edit the content, add custom elements, or finalize your website settings.

This process is intuitive and customizable, meaning you can make adjustments at any step. If you’re unsure, you can exit the guide and return to it later through the Extendify plugin management.

If you have already completed the website creation process using this guide and want to start over—for example, to create a new design, change the content focus, or adjust the page structure—you need to perform a website reset. This option is available in the Site Assistant section of the WordPress admin panel under the Reset site button (see image below).

Website Reset

Resetting the website will delete all existing content and allow you to restart the entire website creation process. We recommend backing up any important data before resetting.
