SuperSite editor modes: Free Mode and Restricted Settings

The SuperSite editor offers two working modes that allow you to customize how you edit your website:

  1. Free Mode: You get full control over the editor. You can move, resize, and customize all components on the page.
  2. Restricted Settings: Allows adding new sections and editing their content, but blocks the ability to add, move, or resize individual components.

How to Switch Between Modes

  1. Click on Design in the toolbar.
  2. Click on Advanced (the icon with the gear).
  3. Select one of the following modes:
    • Restricted Settings: Click "Restricted Edits" if you want to prevent layout changes to components.
    • Free Mode: Click "Free Mode" if you want full control over editing, moving, and customizing all elements.

💡 Use Restricted Settings if you want to maintain design consistency and prevent unwanted changes to the layout. Free Mode is ideal for advanced editing and maximum customization.
