Outlook address book synchronization

CardDAV provides full access to address book data (reading, editing, deleting). Setting it up involves installing the CalDAV Synchronizer add-on and adding a calendar account.

1. Activating synchronization in webmail
All webmail address books are available for synchronization, so no activation is needed. You can select a specific address book directly in the CalDAV Synchronizer.

2. Installing the CalDAV Synchronizer Add-on
Download and install the latest version of the add-on. You can find it on the developer's website or use a direct link. Save the installation file (ZIP) to your disk and extract it using the usual method.

Make sure Outlook is closed and run the setup.exe file. Then follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

After the installation is complete, start Outlook - the add-on will add a new CalDAV Synchronizer tab to Outlook.

3. Adding a Calendar in Outlook
Go to the CalDAV Synchronizer tab and click on Synchronization profiles.

In the Options window, add a calendar by clicking the button

Zvolte Generic CalDAV/CardDAV a klikněte na tlačítko OK

Select Generic CalDAV/CardDAV and click OK.
In the respective sections, fill in:
  • Outlook settings
    - Contact directory where events will be synchronized (if it doesn't exist, create it)
    - Check Synchronize items immediately after change
  • Server settings
    - DAV URL https://syncdav.forpsi.com/
    - username, password - name and password for mailbox access
--> By clicking the Test or discover settings button, verify the validity of the entered data and select the calendar you want to synchronize.
  • Sync settings
    - Leave bidirectional synchronization and synchronization interval as is.

Click OK to save the profile.
