Thunderbird address book synchronization

CardDAV provides full access to address books data (read, edit, delete). Since Thunderbird has native support for CardDAV, there is no need to install any add-on or application.

1. Activating synchronization in webmail
All webmail address books are available for synchronization, so no activation is needed. You can select a specific address book directly in the Thunderbird

2. Adding an address book in Thunderbird
Go to Contacts and from the drop-down menu next to the New Folder button, select Add CardDAV Address Book.

Enter the email address and the synchronization server address https://syncdav.forpsi.com

Enter the password for the email account and proceed with selecting address book

Complete adding the account by clicking the Continue button.

2. Additional settings
After adding the account, you can adjust the synchronization frequency and choose a more suitable account name.

Hover the mouse cursor over the directory, click on the ... menu, and select Properties.
- If you want to use the directory as default, check the Default startup directory option (Thunderbird will primarily offer addresses from this folder when composing messages)

Set a suitable name and synchronization frequency.
