SSL CERTIFICATE MANAGEMENT IN CUSTOMER ADMINISTRATION
(valid for paid SSL certificates only)
After ordering a paid SSL certificate, you will get access to manage the service. You will have an insight into service expiration, SSL certificate expiration, issued and paid invoices, SSL certificate type, etc. In case you upload the SSL certificate to your server, we will give you the option to enter a so-called CSR request, the details of which we will need to issue each certificate.
Where can I find the section for SSL certificates?
Log in to your customer account and a "SSL Certificates" link will appear in the menu on the left-hand side. Click on this link and you will see all the paid SSL certificates you have ordered from us.
After registering your new SSL certificate order or during the renewal process, you will be able to view the details of the service. You can check the current status of your order.
- If it is waiting for payment, simply find the Invoices section in the menu and pay the relevant payment request.
- if it is waiting for a CSR (in cases where you upload the certificate to your server yourself), you need to provide us with a CSR request (key). You can enter it via the "enter" link (see image).
In the next step, you will be presented with a form to enter your CSR application and submit it to the system.
Once the payment and all other details have been processed, the status in your customer account will change. You can see a view of the active SSL certificate service in the next image.
Below is the service detail with all the information that defines the service.
Why is the SSL certificate expiration date different from the service expiration date?
Different expiration dates have caused new conditions when creating SSL certificates. You can read about the reduction of the validity of SSL certificates in
this article. Since
March 2026, the SSL certificate is valid for only half a year, and for this reason the certificate expiration date may differ from the expiration date of the entire service.
Approximately halfway through the service's validity, the certificate will need to be replaced with a new one. Therefore, during the billing period (1 year), it will be necessary to create and install 2 certificates.
In 2027 and 2029, there will be another reduction, so certificate renewal will be even more frequent.
Will I get any notifications when my SSL certificate is about to expire?
In case we need any cooperation from you, we will definitely contact you in a timely manner (for example, with confirmation of applicant validation).
As for billing expiration, 30 days before the expiration of the service, we will send you a new proforma invoice and renewal instructions. The proforma invoice due date is the same as for other services, 10 calendar days. After receiving payment and fulfilling other requirements (replacing the CSR request when installing on your own server, confirming applicant validation), the SSL certificate and the entire service will be renewed.
You will then see the new expiration dates (of the service and the certificate too) in the customer administration.
